FAQ

Questions about PvP Blackjack

Everything players usually ask — about chips, the rules, playing with friends and your account.

Is PvP Blackjack free?

Yes, completely. There is nothing to buy. New players start with 5,000 chips, and if you ever drop below 100 chips you can claim 1,000 free chips every 30 minutes.

Can I win or lose real money?

No. Chips are virtual and have no money value: they can’t be bought, sold, cashed out or exchanged for prizes. PvP Blackjack is a game of skill and luck for fun — not gambling.

How is it different from normal Blackjack?

There is no dealer and no casino. You play one against one against another person: both of you get two cards and play at the same time without seeing each other’s hand. Whoever is closer to 21 takes the whole pot. And there’s an extra move, SWAP, which lets you swap your last card once per round for half your wager extra. The full rules are on the How to play page.

Do I need an account?

No — tap Play as guest and you can play the bot and other players straight away. A free account (just an e-mail address and a password) lets you add friends, send messages, challenge friends and appear on the leaderboard, and you can log in from any device. A guest can create an account at any time and keep their chips.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. PvP Blackjack runs in the browser on phones, tablets and computers — there’s nothing to download or install.

How do I play with a friend?

Create free accounts, add each other as friends (by username, or from the leaderboard), then open your friend’s profile and press Challenge. You choose the wager; friendly matches don’t count toward statistics or the leaderboard.

Can my opponent see my cards?

No. The game runs on our server: it shuffles, deals, times and scores everything. Your browser only ever receives your own cards, so your opponent can’t see your hand — or whether you hit or swapped — until the round is over.

What happens if I lose my connection?

The round keeps going. If you’re back before the 30-second clock runs out, you carry on playing; if not, your hand stands as it is. If our server ever has to restart in the middle of a round, everyone gets their chips back.

I forgot my password — what now?

On the login screen, press Forgot password? and enter your e-mail address. We’ll send you a code to set a new one.

Who can play?

PvP Blackjack is for adults aged 18 or older.

Someone is rude or cheating. What can I do?

Open their profile and press Block — you won’t be matched with them again or see their messages. Press Report to tell us; a moderator will look at it. Chat is filtered for swear words in many languages.
